We had a great New Year's Eve at the Ranch. In line with Honduran tradition, we had an "old year man" which is much like a scarecrow, and blew him up to welcome in the new year. I had heard of this and was quite excited to see it all play out before me

What a fun tradition. I am glad you got to experience that holiday in a different culture. The verse is great because we are always pressing towards the goal and a new year helps us to redefine and rethink how we are living our lives. I am proud of you and miss you.

Oh, Jessi, that sounds like such an exciting way to let go of the old year and welcome a new beginning! It was wonderful to see you, while you were home. It is obvious that you are enjoying your work and the children that have become so dear to you. We shall watch with eagerness to see God's leadership work in your life during this new year. You are precious in HIS sight, and in ours. Just know that we love you and pray for you. Lynn and Frank
